DAS Solar Wins 780 MW Order for N-type Modules from China Datang Corporation

DAS Solar have recently won the bid to supply 780 MW N-Type modules to China Datang Corporation in the fourth quarter of 2022. So far, Das Solar’s N-type modules have won multiple major bids from China’s state-owned enterprises this year. The volume is higher than 1GW up to this month.

 

The winning modules from DAS Solar, based on 182mm wafers, have a conversion efficiency of 22.1% and up to 615 W power output. The product is designed to meet the needs in different application scenarios, including residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale installations.

 

 

DAS Solar’s N-Type module, having passed three times IEC standard tests, guarantees 15 years of equipment warranty and 30 years of performance warranty. Its degradation rate is less than 1% in the first year, and lower than 0.4% annually in the coming years. The power generation capacity will remain at around 87.4% even when the module reaches the end of its life in the 30th year.

 

Incorporating eight innovative technologies, DAS Solar’s module boasts high efficiency, high bifaciality, low temperature coefficient and low degradation rate, and reduce LCOE for solar project owners. Focusing on R&D and production of N-type solar cells and modules, DAS Solar claimed to have reached a lab efficiency of over 25.5% and 24.8% for commercial solar cells.

It is expected by the end of 2022, Das Solar will complete the construction of 20GW of high-efficiency N-type cell and 20GW N-type modules and put into production, which will become one of the world’s TOP 3 suppliers of N-type modules to cover the short-term delivery needs of large-scale projects worldwide.
